Meet Twinify Leadership
We bring decades of experience pioneering developments in advanced technologies, analytics, power/ industrial energy, computer-based simulation, strategy, planning tools, and AI solutions.
Bio: April’s forte is taking ventures from good to great by finding and filling gaps in processes, strategies, and teams. She works closely with the entire team to define and attain strategic objectives. During 30 years at Black & Veatch April managed software development and deployment initiatives for products that define risk and evaluate forward planning strategies for energy, water, and community domains. Before joining Twinify she managed a financial technology company’s transition to a new brand and a new entity. April earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from North Dakota State University.
Bio: Brian has a passion for designing and delivering software solutions that solve complex analytic problems. Brian leads the delivery of an innovative platform that will enable and accelerate the deployment of domain rich performance digital twins. He has decades of experience architecting and deploying software solutions including more than 20 years at Black & Veatch, culminating in his role as chief architect of an industry leading analytics and AI platform. Brian has led the development of major solutions to serve asset management, advanced planning, and asset performance management. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Kansas.
Bio: Josh enjoys solving difficult technical problems and building intuitive and capable user experiences. He has been developing software for more than twenty years. As senior architect he is responsible for the technical design and implementation of the Twinify platform. He brings software development experience from Honeywell, Black & Veatch and the software consulting firm 27Global, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in computer engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia, a Master of Engineering degree in software engineering from Kansas State University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Rockhurst University.

Bio: Tricia Bergman is the Associate Vice Chancellor for Economic Development at the University of Kansas. In this role she heads KU’s Office of Economic Development, which promotes local and regional economic growth through KU-based education and research activities that include industry and community partnership development, workforce development strategies and the creation of an infrastructure and culture of innovation and entrepreneurism.
Bio: Andy is a senior consultant to the US DOE’s Loan Programs Office. He was CEO or Co-founder at four innovative clean energy startups specializing in SaaS, ML and IoT platforms. Earlier experience included Black & Veatch, Booz Allen Hamilton and Westinghouse. Andy holds BS and ME degrees in nuclear engineering plus an MBA, all from the University of Virginia.
Bio: Paul Estey is recently retired from Maxar where he served in a several positions from System Engineer to Chief Operating Officer (COO). Prior to Maxar, Dr. Estey held engineering and management positions at the NASA-Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), SAIC, American Rocket Company (AMROC), and TRW. Dr. Estey holds a BMSE from Queen’s University, MSME from MIT and a Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University.
Bio: Dale owns Mountaineer Power Consulting, LLC, providing due diligence evaluations, business development support, expert witness services, and technical assessment of power plant performance, budgets, management teams, and risks. Dale has served the US power industry for over forty years and has been responsible for coal preparation, construction, commissioning, operations, plant management, fleet P&L, and divestiture. Dale holds a BS in Mining & Mineral Processing Engineering and an MBA from West Virginia University.
